FAQs

Find quick answers to our most common questions.

Ordering & Personalisation

1. How do I order personalised clothing from stitcheasy?

Whether you’re ordering for work, a team or an event, we’ve made it straightforward.

2. Can I order just one item?

Yes! There’s no minimum order, whether you need one personalised garment or clothing for a whole team. Start small or order more, whatever suits you. Any applicable embroidery setup fee is shown separately as you customise your garment. Embroidery setup fees may apply.

3. Are there any setup fees?

There’s no setup fee for printing. For embroidery, a one-time £10 setup fee applies to each new logo at each embroidery size. Chest and sleeve positions share the small size; front and back share the large size. Using both sizes means two setup fees. If you’ve already paid for the same logo at the same size, you won’t need to pay again.

4. Can I mix garments, sizes and colours and still get a discount?

Yes! You can mix eligible clothing across styles, sizes and colours to build your order. Get 6% off 4–10 garments, 10% off 11–25, or 15% off 26 or more. Discounts apply automatically to eligible garments and their print or embroidery charges. Setup fees are excluded.

5. Will I see how my logo looks before you start?

Yes. We’ll check your uploaded artwork and send you a mockup showing how your design will look on your chosen garment. You can check the size and position and let us know if anything needs adjusting. We won’t begin printing or embroidery until you’ve approved it.

Delivery & Timescales

1. How long will my order take?

We usually dispatch orders within 3–5 working days. Delivery time is additional and depends on the shipping service you choose at checkout. Please approve your artwork promptly, as delays in approval can affect dispatch. If you need your clothing for a particular date, contact us before ordering so we can check whether we can meet it.

2. How much does delivery cost?

Standard tracked UK delivery costs £4.99, or £5.99 for faster tracked delivery. Standard tracked delivery is free on orders of £150 or more.

Delivery times start after dispatch. Choosing faster delivery doesn’t shorten the time needed to prepare and personalise your clothing.

3. Do you deliver to the Republic of Ireland?

Please contact us before ordering for delivery to the Republic of Ireland. We’ll check your requirements and provide a delivery quote before you commit. Our UK delivery rates and free-delivery offer don’t apply.

4. Can you deliver in time for my event or deadline?

If you need your clothing by a particular date, please contact us before ordering. Let us know what you need, how many garments and your deadline, and we’ll check whether we can meet it. Please wait for us to confirm before placing your order. Choosing faster tracked delivery speeds up postage after dispatch, not production.

5. Can I track my delivery?

Yes. All our delivery options include tracking. Once your order has been dispatched, we’ll email you a tracking link so you can follow your parcel’s progress. Tracking covers delivery, not artwork approval or the printing and embroidery stages.

Artwork & Help

1. What artwork files should I upload?

Upload the clearest original artwork you have, ideally an SVG, transparent PNG or high-quality JPG. We also accept WebP, AVIF and TIFF files.

If you’re using Canva, export your design at the size you want printed, using the highest-quality settings available. For images, aim for 300dpi at the final print size where possible. Enlarging a small, blurry image won’t improve its quality.

Only include a background if you want it printed as part of your design. Not sure your artwork is suitable? Send us what you have and we’ll check it before decoration begins.

2. Can I check my uploaded artwork before paying?

Yes. After adding your garments to the cart, click ‘View uploaded’ under the relevant item to check the file you’ve attached. Make sure it’s the correct artwork for each decoration position before continuing to checkout.

This shows your uploaded file, not a preview of the finished garment. We’ll send you a separate mockup for approval before printing or embroidery begins.

3. Can you help if my artwork needs adjusting?

Yes. We check your artwork free of charge and can make minor adjustments to help prepare it for printing or embroidery. If it needs a more detailed redraw, we’ll explain what’s needed and agree any additional cost with you before going ahead.

Embroidery digitising is separate and is covered by the applicable embroidery setup fee.

4. Can I supply my own embroidery file?

We don’t accept customer-supplied digitised embroidery files. Please upload your original logo artwork instead.

We digitise each new design in-house for our HappyJapan machines, then check and adjust it for the garment and embroidery size. This helps us maintain stitch quality and a consistent finish.

The applicable setup fee applies even if your logo has been digitised elsewhere. Once you’ve paid for setup with us, you won’t pay it again for the same logo at the same embroidery size.

5. Should I choose print or embroidery?

Embroidery gives logos a textured, stitched finish and is a popular choice for workwear, polos and team clothing. Very small lettering and fine details may need simplifying for a clear result.

Our DTF printing is well suited to colourful artwork, detailed graphics and larger designs, without an embroidery setup fee.

The best choice depends on your design, garment and preferred finish. Not sure which to choose? Send us your artwork and we’ll help you decide.

6. Can you match my existing embroidery colours?

Yes, we can help you find a close match. If you have a Madeira thread colour code from an existing uniform or previous supplier, please include it with your artwork so we can check availability.

If you don’t have a code, we can discuss matching from a physical sample. Colours can look different on screens, so we can’t guarantee an exact match from a photo or uploaded image alone. Please contact us before ordering if a particular thread colour is essential.
